Data Analyst (Data & Analytics)
Data and Analytics at COMPLY
COMPLY is the world’s leading aggregator of financial and regulatory data to support compliance. Our mission is to help financial institutions meet their regulatory obligations with confidence, clarity, and speed. We ingest, process, and enrich vast volumes of complex, high-variance data from hundreds of brokers, data providers and other sources of information across the US and beyond. The scale, diversity, and importance of this data creates unique technical challenges and opportunities.
The COMPLY Data Platform is a strategic initiative at the heart of this mission. It underpins everything from our broker feed ingestion and security master to advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and future regulatory technologies. We’re building something foundational, and we’re doing it with a modern, cloud-native architecture that’s designed to scale.
We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our team to help ensure the reliability, accuracy, and timeliness of this critical data.

You will manage data pipelines (built in AWS Glue), monitor feed performance, liaise with external brokers on feed specs and logistics, and support customer teams with data queries.
This is not a passive reporting role. It is hands-on, fast-moving, and central to the day-to-day delivery of COMPLY’s data products. You’ll work closely with engineers, data partners, and customer teams to ensure that broker feeds run smoothly and data quality issues are resolved quickly and transparently.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, schedule, and monitor ETL jobs in AWS Glue for ingesting broker data feeds.
- Actively manage the operational performance of broker feeds, identifying and resolving issues quickly.
- Collaborate with our partnerships team and directly with external brokers to define feed specifications, troubleshoot onboarding issues, and coordinate logistics.
- Investigate and respond to data-related queries from internal stakeholders (e.g. Customer Experience, Customer Support).
- Contribute to internal documentation, tooling improvements, and process automation.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the team’s processes and tools.
Essential Criteria
- Experience working in a data operations, data analyst, or data support role in an enterprise or SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with ETL workflows and concepts.
- Ability to write and understand SQL.
- Familiarity with sFTP and basic data transfer protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, especially when working with incomplete or messy data.
- Confident in reading, analyzing and interpreting both internal and external technical documents.
- Confident communicator, able to work with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Highly organized, with good judgment about when to escalate.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working with AWS Glue or similar ETL tools.
- Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for automating tasks
- Background in financial services or working with trading/securities data.
- Understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality frameworks.
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms or data products with external customers.
What We Offer
- A mission-driven role at the core of COMPLY’s data delivery engine.
- Exposure to a wide variety of technologies, partners, and data types.
- Opportunities to collaborate with engineers and influence tooling and automation.
- A supportive team that values precision, transparency, and continuous learning.
- A platform that’s scaling rapidly, with plenty of opportunity to grow with it.
